No Amount of Gold Can Buy Even One Moment of Time
The Srimad Bhagavatam, Second Canto, Chapter 3, Text 17 very powerfully reminds us how important it is to use our time wisely:

āyur harati vai puṁsām
udyann astaṁ ca yann asau
tasyarte yat-kṣaṇo nīta
uttama-śloka-vārtayā

TRANSLATION
Both by rising and by setting, the sun decreases the duration of life of everyone, except one who utilizes the time by discussing topics of the all-good Personality of Godhead.

Srila Prabhupada explains in his purport to this verse:

"This verse indirectly confirms the greater importance of utilizing the human form of life to realize our lost relationship with the Supreme Lord by acceleration of devotional service. Time and tide wait for no man. So the time indicated by the sunrise and the sunset will be uselessly wasted if such time is not properly utilized for realizing identification of spiritual values. Even a fraction of the duration of life wasted cannot be compensated by any amount of gold."

So we should always remember how valuable time is and always keep ourselves absorbed in devotional service to Lord Sri Krishna. One moment of time wasted cannot be purchased back even with all the gold in this entire universe.

Question: How to Become Doubtless?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, 

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I have a tendency of doubting . Sometimes I get this doubt that maybe Krishna is not there and that maybe I am on the wrong path by following bhakti. I sometimes doubt the words of the Srimad Bhagavatam and the acharyas. I know doubting will hinder our progress in bhakti. I preach to myself again and again but such doubting thoughts come again and again. Please guide me what can I do to overcome this tendency of doubting .

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
