Do Not Be Fooled by the Mirage of Material Existence
Just as in the desert a foolish animal runs himself to death trying to reach a mirage to get a drink of water, in a similar way we foolish human beings, who are actually spiritual by nature, think that we can be happy by gratifying our material senses. The fact is that there is no happiness in this material existence. There is only the mirage of happiness. Thus the human being who is factually intelligent does not try to find happiness in this material world. He finds his happiness by reviving his lost loving relationship with Lord Sri Krishna and by rescuing as many as possible of his fellow human beings from their foolishly running after the mirage of material enjoyment.

I have a question regarding the human form. You say that at the time of death one's mentality gives one his next form. An example is that if you do not discriminate when it comes to eating, then your next birth is in a hog form. Then what mentality is required to get a human form?

A sinful human being is obliged by the laws of nature to be an animal in his
next birth. By rotating from birth to birth to birth in the animal kingdom the sinful person gradually burns off the reactions for the sins he committed
while in the human form. Once these sins are for the most part burned off he again comes to the human form in which he gets another chance to escape the cycle of birth and death and go back to home back to Godhead.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
