On 15 November 2019 I was speaking at the University of Texas at Austin in an evening program called "Music for Peace." One of the students asked me which path we are following. I explained to him that Krishna consciousness is not another one of the paths. It is instead the essence of all paths. In other words, by becoming Krishna conscious one becomes the best Christian, the best Muslim, the best Jew, the best altruist, the best philosopher, the best scientist, etc. Unfortunately due their foolish attachment to material sense gratification most people are not able to take up the sublime path of Krishna consciousness. Thus our mission is to convince the whole world to take up this path so that everyone can become happy.

My name is Roman and I live in Russia. I study Shrila Prabhupada's books and I like them very much. But very often I hear from devotees on Sunday programs that we should not believe that we achieve the supreme goal of life in this lifetime. They say that even if we practice Krishna consciousness fully and sincerely we can only attain a new birth in a family of devotees and escape lower birth in the animal kingdom. So my question is: Should I accept such an attitude and is it true?

According to Srila Prabhupada it is possible to achieve spiritual perfection in one lifetime. In a letter to Madhudvisa Das written in Hamburg, Germany on 7 September 1969 Srila Prabhupada states as follows:
 
"For so many countless lifetimes the conditioned souls have been giving all of their service and energy to the service of Maya, and I am requesting all of my disciples that for this one lifetime you give all of your energy and service to Krishna. The spiritual force is eternal, so to give simply one lifetime to Krishna is not a very difficult thing. And yet if we are serious in executing the devotional principles, this one lifetime of service to Krishna will be the absolute and final solution to all the problems of life. Sincere devotional service in even one lifetime is sufficient to make one eligible to return to the Vaikuntha world permanently. Krishna Consciousness has got this power. So stick to this path as you are now doing, and as your sincerity and determination increase more and more, Krishna will surely be pleased to bestow all of His blessings upon you."
 
So now under the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master fully absorb yourself 24 hours daily in purely serving Lord Sri Krishna with your every thought, word, and deed in all times, places, and circumstances.  In this way your going back to home, back to Godhead at the end of this lifetime will be 100% guaranteed.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
