The Goal of Human Life: Perfect Balance

The goal of human life is to become perfectly balanced. Unfortunately in our modern day completely imbalanced age due to imbalanced association it is practically impossible to become balanced. This is because as stated in the Bhagavad-gita "sangat sanjayate kamah," our consciousness develops according to our association. However if one is fortunate enough to get the association and tutelage of someone who is perfectly balanced and if one takes full advantage of that balanced association by learning the art of balance from him, even the most imbalanced person can become perfectly balanced.

This was my greatest good fortune, to become the disciple of the most perfectly balanced person, my beloved spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Simply by following his expert instructions for now almost 50 years I am reaping the greatest benefit of being able to live a perfectly balanced, super ecstatic life.

As he has ordered me to teach the whole world the art of balance, I have fully dedicated my life until my last dying breath for this mission of helping as many people as possible to achieve perfect balance. And if Lord Krishna so desires, I am prepared to continue with this mission birth after birth until the entire global society becomes perfectly balanced.

Question: Vedic Age Advanced as Modern Age?

Do the Vedas describe a time in the past when humanity was as advanced as it is now?

Troy Marcotte

Answer: Even Materially More Advanced

Troy, the Vedas describe a time when society was many times more advanced than it is now. There were castles bedecked with jewels that produced illumination so that there was no need of electricity to light the castles at night. Even there were castle airplanes in which one could fly in style all over the universe without using fossil fuel. Such castles were created by yogic power. They did not need a polluting factory to be manufactured.
