The War Against Maya or Illusion
Our enemy is maya or illusion. We have been conquered by illusion and are thus the slaves of illusion. Therefore we must now fight a war of independence to get free from the clutches of illusion. In this way instead of trying to imagine that we are happy in our present suffering condition, we can become factually happy as liberated souls no longer imprisoned in the vicious cycle of birth and death. If you have not alway declared war on maya or illusion, take up the fight today under the guidance of Guru and Krishna. The life you save will be your own. Plus you will become a positive force for benefitting the entire world. What could be more fulfilling than this?
Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada
Thank you for your continuing energy in that for so many years you have continued to share Thought For The Day.
From the subject matter shared today, it seems appropriate not to ask a question but to thank Lord Krishna, to thank you devoted servant of Lord Krishna, for bringing us to this point in time, in our lives, in our devotional practice, where despite the prospect of all life that is existent spiraling towards an increasing abyss of darkness, we find within ourselves the strength to hold onto the truth and therefore the light that Lord Krishna has shown us, and therefore allowing us remain equipoised.
