Spiritual Birth

On 20 December 2018 here in Mauritius I happily initiated four new disciples. Initiation is the most important step to take if one is serious to get out of the cycle of birth and death and return to his original home in the spiritual world. Our first birth is from our father and mother, and our second birth is from the spiritual master and the revealed scriptures. Without second birth a human being is considered to still be on the animal platform because human life only factually begins when one fully dedicates himself to guru and Krishna.

Question: The Minute Soul Has Form?

Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga.

Does the soul have any form? I have read in Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita purport that its size is 1/10,000th the tip of a hair and that we have consciousness in our whole body from head to toe because of the presence of this minute soul. How can this tiny particle have a shape or form?

Gurudeva, I am an ignorant soul. Please forgive me if I have unknowingly committed any mistake. I request that you kindly clear my doubts. If you can give some light on this, I will be grateful to you.

Yes, the soul has form. At the present moment while we are falsely trying to enjoy this material world our spiritual form is in an unmanifest seedlike stage compacted within a spiritual particle 1/10,000th the tip of hair. But when we become liberated from our tendency to try to enjoy separately from the Lord and become fully awakened in Krishna consciousness our original spiritual form will again become manifest. Just consider the example of how a gigantic banyan tree is present within a small banyan seed, but in due course of time fully comes out of that tiny seed.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
