The Super Determined Little Boy

On 29 December 2018 at our "From Fear to Love" spiritual retreat in Yarra Glen, Australia so many wonderful things happened. One tidbit of delight was the determination of the little boy, Sri Tanvik, who insisted at our book table that he wanted a Krishna Book. This is the book by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, which wonderfully describes in detail the pastimes of Lord Sri Krishna when He was on this earth planet 5,000 years ago. My wife was at the book table and told the mother to give the Krishna Book to the boy because he was very attracted to it. But his mother was firm that because they already have the Krishna Book at home he could not get one. Although the boy was quiet he showed his great sorrow that he could not have his own personal Krishna Book. But then when his father came to the book table and bought him the book, Sri Tanvik, in great ecstasy was holding his Krishna Book to his chest. When at the age of three he is so determined to have Krishna we can only begin to imagine how Krishna conscious this determined, darling little child will be when he grows up.

I need help and guidance. I really need to know the meaning of life and existence itself. I mean, why was I born.? Did I choose to be here? If so what were my reasons? I just feel I have forgotten stuff that I ought not to. I need to remember I need guidance.

You have existed eternally. God has been eternally emanating you from Himself in a similar way that the sun is emanating sun rays. In other words, you are a ray of God. He has been emanating you eternally from Himself because He wants to have a beautiful loving relationship with you. So it's not that you came into being in your present lifetime because your mother and father had sex. That only explains how you got your present body, which is only a garment that you, the eternal spiritual being, are wearing in your present lifetime.

The perfection of your existence is to now revive that lost loving relationship. That what I am here for. I am God's messenger instructed by Him to teach you to become re-situated in your original loving relationship with Him.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
