Don't Be a Cow or Ass
The Srimad-Bhagavatam advises us that someone possesses the mentality of a cow or an ass if he considers his body to be his self, thinks his relatives to be his life and soul, regards the place of his birth to be sacred, and goes to a holy place of pilgrimage being more eager to take bath and go here and there on parikrama than he is to hear from his spiritual master. If we want to awaken our dormant Krishna consciousness, we should carefully note this warning and avoid this cow/ass mentality. This will insure that we will be qualified to go back to home, back to Godhead upon departing from our present material bodies. In other words, we should always remember that we are not our bodies, that all living entities are our relatives, that sacred place means where Lord Krishna appears, and especially we should always remember Narottama Das Thakur's song in which he states that his only desire is to have his consciousness purified by hearing the words emanating from the lotus mouth of his spiritual master.

Ramendra Nath Roy Dakua
In a nutshell, I was a young singer/songwriter who was looking for the true meaning of my existence and the means for bringing a spiritual revolution to the planet earth. Nothing else mattered to me. In 1971 after a period of deep soul-searching prayer Krishna sent His Holiness Vishnujana Swami Maharaja to my town, Austin, Texas USA. The swami convinced me fully that I am the eternal servant of Krishna and that the Krishna consciousness movement is the vehicle for bringing about the greatest spiritual revolution in human history. Therefore under Vishnujana Swami's merciful guidance I fully dedicated my eternal existence to my spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, and have been serving Srila Prabhupada and his mission uninterruptedly for the 44 years. I will continue to do so for all of eternity. This is the meaning of being a disciple.

Answer: To Revolutionize My Consciousness and the Whole World
It’s a long story that cannot be answered in a simple email. I am, however, working on my autobiography to tell my story in full.In a nutshell, I was a young singer/songwriter who was looking for the true meaning of my existence and the means for bringing a spiritual revolution to the planet earth.
