Open Your Heart to Universal Love

As living beings we are meant to love and be loved unconditionally. When we are starved of this we become miserable. This is the present plight of the entire human civilization. And this is why there are so many wars and so much hatred going around. To realize our full potential as living beings we must come to the platform of unconditional universal love. This platform is achieved when we give our love fully to the Supreme Person. Just as when you water the root of all tree all the leaves and branches are nourished, similarly when you give your love fully to the Supreme Person with unconditional surrender, your unconditional love for all living beings then becomes fully manifested and distributed and you experience unlimited peace and happiness at every moment.

Answer: Don't Slither Out of the Guru's Hands

As long you continue to identify yourself with your material body, you must necessarily be disturbed again and again by lusty desires. To become free from the torment of lust you must always remember that your real identity is that of an eternal spiritual being, servant of God, who is qualitatively one with Him. In other words, this material world is not your actual home. You are presently like a fish out of the water dreaming that you will be happy by connecting yourself with some girl on the land. This will not bring you real happiness. The only way that fish can be happy is to somehow get himself back into the water. But he has no legs for walking on the land to do so. He is dependent on someone else picking him up and throwing him back into the water. This is the loving service of the spiritual master. He picks up the fish and throws him back into the water. The problem is that due to misunderstanding the fish get so scared when he is picked up that he panics and slithers out of the guru's hands falling back down onto the sandy beach. The fish who calmly accepts the mercy of the spiritual master allowing his magic to act fully becomes a liberated soul re-established in his eternal constitutional position of unlimited bliss and knowledge. So all you to do to become free from the contamination of lust is to fully surrender yourself to the bona fide spiritual master. Don't slither out of his hands.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
