Thrilled by the Ultimate Adventure

1 May 2015--There is no greater, more thrilling adventure than fully absorbing your life in the ultimate rescue operation, the deliverance of all the fallen souls of this material world back to their eternal liberated positions in the pastimes of the Supreme Lord in His eternal abode. As soon as you absorb your life fully in this way you don't have to worry about your liberation from this material world because you are already liberated. Today our rescue mission takes us into Russia where will be delivering the liberating message of Krishna consciousness in Kaliningrad. We pray to Lord Sri Krishna that we may be successful in our mission.

As a daily dose of insulin is required for a diabetic patient, similarly the Ultimate Self Realization Course give a daily dose of inspiration for the materially suffering souls to progress in the awakening of their dormant Krishna consciousness.

The answering of questions by Gurudeva removes the hurdles one has in his/her mind for their spiritual progress. The daily "Thought for the Day" shows us in a way which even a materialistically minded person can understand the path of how a surrendered soul to Krishna moves about in this material world with full dedication and vigor.

The Ultimate Self Realization Course has been a tool to fulfill Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission. This course is instrumental to help the soul to reach its original destination i.e. back to home, back to Godhead.

Every day I wait for Thought for the Day to appear in my email, as it gives a daily dose of spiritual energy to pursue this wonderful path of Krishna consciousness.

Question: Difference Between Ego and False Ego?

I wanted to know if there's any difference between ego and false ego? One of my friends claims that ego and false ego are different, and if we don't have ego we are like non living entities. Is this true? He's asking for reference from Prabhupada's books as to where it is stated that ego and false ego are same.

Your humble servant,
Madhura

Answer: False Ego Means There Must Also Be Real Ego

Your friend is right. If ego itself was false, we would not need to say “false ego.” The term false ego tells us that there must also be something which is the true ego or the real ego. The conclusion is that ego means identity. Real ego is that I am a spiritual being, who is the eternal servant of Krishna, the origin and center of all existence. And false ego is when I think that I am this body and that I am the center of all existence.
