In this material world everyone is starved for love because there is no real love here. So much bitterness is tasted in the attempt to experience love that people sometimes denounce love as something bad. If you want to know what is real love, you need to put Krishna in the center of all your relationships. If you do so, you will taste the sweetest nectar in your relationships, sometimes so sweet that you heart will melt and you will cry tears of joy.

Answer: Don't Think the Cure is Worse than the Disease

If someone is sick, he knows that he needs to take medicine. But because the medicine is bitter sometimes he foolishly thinks that the cure is worse than the disease and that it is thus better to stay sick rather than to take the medicine. This is of course is utter foolishness. It is better to undergo a little temporary bitterness and become completely recovered from the disease than to continue perpetually in a diseased condition. If the sick person remains in his foolishness, not using his intelligence, he will need to be scolded by a doctor or a friend to bring him to his senses so he can take the medicine and get well.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
