Sweet Memories of Another Ecstatic Baltic Tour

11 November 2013--Now that we have arrived by boat in Helsinki I am reflecting back on the ecstatic preaching tour we had in the Baltic states (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia). The loving reciprocations we had with so many devotees in so many different situations was absolutely invigorating. The kirtans were often magical as we deeply, deeply absorbed ourselves in kirtan rasa. And so many new lights of wisdom came flowing out of Srila Prabhupada's purports as we studied his amazingly transformational writings. There is truly no sweeter life than a life of Krishna consciousness to be had anywhere within the three worlds!

Question: Do We Need to Fear Krishna?

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I have two queries.

1. Is Bhagavad-gita for all living beings of all the planets of the universe, or is it only for humans of earth.?
2. Is it necessary to fear God (Krishna) along with loving him, as claimed by a religious community.

Answer: Love is All You Need

Bhagavad-gita applies to everybody on every planet. For example, before being spoken to Arjuna on the earth, it was spoken by Lord Krishna on the sun planet to the sun god.

A criminal is afraid of the police, and the law abiding citizen appreciates the police because he is
being protected by them. In a similar way, those who are not obeying the laws of God are afraid of God because they know that their punishment is coming, while those who are obeying the laws of God naturally feel love for Him appreciating very much His qualities, His pastimes, His names, and His teachings. They are not at all afraid of Him being fully absorbed in loving Him.
