Eighty-Eight New Lectures Are Now Online

With the help of my disciples, Guru Das and Damodar Das (both from Riga, Latvia), eighty-eight lectures, which I gave between 23 July 2013 and 7 November 2013, are now enhanced and uploaded for your enlivenment and enlightenment. (Of course it is the message which is enlightening and enlivening, not the messenger.) To have had this opportunity to speak about the glories to Lord Krishna to so many wonderful audiences is Krishna's unlimited mercy upon this undeserving soul. This is His kindness upon me to keep me fully absorbed in His service and to give me a wonderful facility for giving Krishna consciousness to others. I am especially indebted to my wife and constant traveling companion, Her Grace Srimati Vishnupriya Devi Dasi, who helps me in many, many ways and to all the devotees who are assisting me in my humble endeavor to give Krishna consciousness to as many people as possible before I leave this world.

You will find the eighty-eight lectures at :www.ultimateselfrealization.com/lectures

Question: How to Save the Cows?

Hare Krishna
Please accept my humble obeisance at your Lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Just one day back I have seen a horrible video in which some people are killing innocent cows and other animals for getting meat. Seriously it was a horrible video and tears started coming out from my eyes. So my question is that why Krishna is not doing anything to save his cows and other animals from these people? For the sake to satisfy their tongue these rascals are brutally killing so many animals daily. Can't we take any initiative to save those animals from these heartless people?

Answer: Fully Dedicate Your Life to Krishna

Since Krishna does not want us to be robots, He gives us the choice to love Him or leave Him. Unfortunately some foolish souls such as ourselves leave Him, trying to enjoy independently from Him here in this material world. It is something like a fish who tries to be happy by enjoying on the land. It is not possible. Such souls who rebelled against the Lord can do any sinful thing for the purpose of gratifying their senses. And often they become so degraded as to kill cows and to kill human babies within the wombs of their mothers by abortion. Therefore Krishna makes every attempt to convince these rebellious souls to abandon their rascaldom and return to His service. He comes to this world again and again to try to save them and also sends His representatives here for the same purpose. So Krishna IS doing something to try to put a stop to the violence. He is now present in the form of ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, to bring the fallen, degraded souls back to His service. Now that He has done His part it is our duty to do our part as well. We must now completely give up our material sense gratification and fully dedicate our every thought, word, and deed for the rest of our lives for pushing forward this Krishna consciousness movement for the deliverance of the suffering world population from the clutches of birth and death. Are you prepared to fully dedicate your life for this purpose?
