Krishna is Inconceivably Gorgeous!

The most amazing thing about Krishna is His unparalled, inconceivably amazing, unlimited gorgeousness. He is one without a second because nobody can compete with His beauty. All beautiful things in this world are beautiful only because they are endowed with a infinitesimally fragmental portion of the beauty of Lord Sri Krishna. Indeed Sri Krishna is the epitome of gorgeousness. Anyone who has tasted the beauty of the Supreme Lord Krishna, in the course of his advancement in Krishna consciousness, naturally no longer has a taste for dead, material things.

Question: Why Some Mornings Happy, Some Mornings Sad?

An aspiring devotee said on some mornings when he wakes up, he feels happy, and on some days he feels otherwise. He asked for the reason. Can we blame it on his karma? On a personal note, do you feel happy when you wake up in the morning, or do you also feel sad sometimes? If happy/sad, what makes you so?

This brings to the next question.

How should one (again a devotee - let him/her be a beginner) understand karma/providence/time/free will, especially when good things happen to bad people vice-versa ?

Answer: He's Still Within the Modes of Nature

If someone is sometimes happy and sometimes not happy, it means that they are still situated on the material plane being tossed this way and that by the modes of material nature because on the spiritual plane there is nothing but uninterrupted, ever-increasing happiness.

I wake up enlivened every day knowing that Lord Sri Krishna has blessed me with another day to increase my Krishna consciousness and the Krishna consciousness of others.

The law of karma gives out good and bad reactions precisely according to our previous good and bad activities from this life and previous lives. Therefore if bad things happen to good people, it means that they are not as good as they appear to be. They had some bad karma lurking in their karmic closet, and now it has finally come out and caught up with them. In a similar way, a bad person may have some previous good karma from past pious activities that he is now enjoying and consequently exhausting.
