Are We Nothing But Robots?

According to what is now called science we are nothing but robots. Our human consciousness is said to be an illusion produced by chemical reactions in our genetically programmed brains. In other words, we are really not persons at all and thus have no inner life or subjectivity or point of view. This is the bleak conclusion of modern day science.

But we challenge these rascal scientists that if our consciousness is nothing but an illusion, who is experiencing the illusion? We experience first hand at every minute that there is a conscious person sitting inside the machine called the body. These atheistic scientists, in spite of their big, big titles and fatty salaries are lacking in common sense. Therefore their so-called science is nothing but nescience, and by it the entire modern global civilization is being grossly misguided. So it's time to educate everyone in the actual science of the self, the conscious being sitting inside the body. When the human population rejects this scientific, delirium madness and understands what is the actual self, there will be a new age of happiness for the entire world population.

Answer: The Sign of Real Advancement

It is not difficult to gauge one's own progress in Krishna consciousness. All one has to do is see how detached he is from material sense gratification. This detachment automatically increases the more that one becomes attached to Krishna. The more you become enamored by Krishna, the less you are enamored by His external energy. One who has tasted the beauty of the Supreme Lord Krishna, in the course of his advancement in Krishna consciousness, no longer has a taste for dead, material things. This is the sign of real advancement.
