Beware of Bad Association
Our consciousness is developed by the company that we keep. If we associate with non-devotees, we will become non-devotees. And if we associate with devotees, we will become devotees. Therefore we should only associate with non-devotees to whatever extent is required to execute our duties and not beyond that. However, when it comes to preaching, we can associate with non-devotees unlimitedly because by our preaching to them they will also become devotees of the Lord.

What is self realization? Is it only chanting Hare Krishna?
Thanks
Kalyaan Banerjee
Since Krishna orders us to chant His names as much as possible 24 hours daily, if we are truly surrendered unto Him we will obey this order. And the Vedic scriptures prescribe that the most effective mantra for chanting the names of God in this age is the Hare Krishna mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे ||
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे||

Answer: Full Surrender Unto Krishna
Self realization means to fully realize that you are the eternal servant of Krishna by fully surrendering yourself at His lotus feet under the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master.Since Krishna orders us to chant His names as much as possible 24 hours daily, if we are truly surrendered unto Him we will obey this order. And the Vedic scriptures prescribe that the most effective mantra for chanting the names of God in this age is the Hare Krishna mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
