Nothing to Fear Except for Forgetting Krishna
There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of except for one thing: forgetting Lord Krishna. One who always remembers Krishna sees His loving hand in all circumstances and is never overpowered by fear, lamentation, or illusion. The purely Krishna conscious person is in a fully enlightened state of awareness perfectly dovetailed with the Supreme Personality of Godhead in all times, places, and circumstances.

Answer: Continue Where You Left Off in Next Life
The good news is that whatever progress you make on the pathway of bhakti, that progress is your eternal asset. For example if you only become 60% perfect in this lifetime, you will only have 40% more to complete in your next life in order to become perfect.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
