No One Is More Wonderful than Krishna

In Goloka Vrindavana everyone is astonished by Krishna. Even though He is the cynosure of all eyes and all minds and is seen doing the most amazing transcendental pastimes every day, no one can understand that He is God. The cowherd men tell Nanda Maharaja, "Your Krishna is wonderful." And Nanda Maharaja replies, "Yes, He is wonderful. Maybe He is some demigod." Even that is not sure. Nanda Maharaja says, "Maybe He is some demigod." This is the power of Krishna's transcendental deluding power, yoga-maya. Since even the energy of Krishna is so inconceivably amazing, what can we understand of the unlimitedly wonderful Krishna Himself, the source of all wonderful things? We can only understand and realize what He allows us to understand by His loving mercy.

Dear Srila Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Some religions present their views on homosexuality to the public in a homophobic manner and it makes people resentful to their religion. How can we present our views in a better way so that people understand and accept our views?

Answer: Krishna Consciousness is Better Than Sex

We have nothing against homosexual people. We love everyone equally seeing everyone as Krishna's parts and parcels. Whether one is addicted to homosex or heterosex, in either case they are in the illusion of the bodily concept. So everybody in the modern day society, both homosexual and heterosexual, is in the same category. Our program is asexuality, abstaining from sex except for producing saintly children. People take to sex because it is the most enjoyable pleasure in this world. But the result of such sex for recreation is troublesome. Therefore it is better to take to the supreme pleasure of Krishna consciousness, which is millions and billions of time more enjoyable than sex enjoyment and which has absolutely no troublesome side effects. Since pleasure is the ultimate goal, the intelligent person gives up the tenth class pleasure of heterosex and homosex for the first class pleasure of Krishna consciousness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
