Question: Did We Fall from an In-Between World?

If I originally came from the spiritual world then why did I fall? I thought once you are in the spiritual world you are guaranteed not to fall again. I can't see how you could have "misbehaved" in the spiritual world to have fallen again.

Some Krishna followers don't believe we were ever in the spiritual world. They say that we were "somewhere in between" and that we fell from there and not from the spiritual world. Please comment.

Answer: There is No In-Between World

The principle is that once you return to the spiritual world after having fallen into this material world, you will not fall a second time. A foolish child may stick his hand in the fire one time. But he will certainly not do it again.

The idea that we came from a third place besides the spiritual world and the material world is a misguided conception because there is no such place. Although there is a borderline between those two worlds, that borderline does not have any spatial dimensions that could facilitate one with a place of residence. Everyone is either on one side of the border or on the other side. They are either in the spiritual world or the material world.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
