Why So Much Brutality in Syria?

The media is currently awash with multitudinous reports of horrific brutality in Syria. It is psychologically devastating to learn of so many atrocities committed by human beings against other human beings. It is natural for the inquisitive mind to wonder why this is going on, especially in such proportion. For the answer we do not have to go very far. Such things are clearly explained in the Vedic wisdom. Because we are daily committing so many unspeakable atrocities against the cows and other innocent animals in the slaughterhouses, it is only natural that the brute mentality, which allows us to murder these animals and relish their blood and flesh, allows us to also be brutal with other human beings. Therefore if we want world peace, it is absolutely imperative that we shut down all of the slaughterhouses all over the world. But the difficulty is that the foolish people want world peace while they continue to brutalize the innocent animals in the slaughterhouses. It will never be possible.

Answer: Who Do You Turn to for Answers?

It is very simple. Who is that spiritual master whose guidance you most trust, that you can turn to when you need to get an answer that nobody else can satisfactorily answer? This is the spiritual master from whom you should accept initiation.
