Krishna consciousness means to be absorbed in the ecstatic mellows of devotional service to Krishna. It is the original unadulterated form of existence. It is unlimitedly sweet, free from all defects, and eternal. Under the guidance of a bona fide spiritual master, that person who has become fully Krishna conscious, one can learn how to also enter into this state of super ecstatic consciousness and always remain solidly fixed in it for all of eternity. There is no greater attainment or success than this.

It is a fact that we are all the eternal associates of the Lord. Simply we have forgotten our real identities and are now dreaming that we have some identity in this material world. When we wake up from this material dream we will see that we are all the eternal associates of the Lord. I am very pleased that you want to be engaged in Lord Caitanya's service. The best way to please me is that you please Lord Caitanya by chanting at least 16 rounds every day of the Hare Krishna mantra on japa mala beads along with strictly avoiding illicit sex, intoxication, meat eating, and gambling. Also you should as much as possible read Srila Prabhupada's books and share the topmost knowledge with everyone that you meet. In this way become fixed solidly in Krishna consciousness, and we will be very happy to accept you as our initiated disciple.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
