Here is How to Attain the Supreme Nirvana

In the Bhagavad-gita Chapter Six, Text 15 Lord Sri Krishna mentions the supreme nirvana (nirvāṇa-paramāṁ) or cessation of material sufferings, which is to be fully absorbed in His pure devotional service. In this topmost state of spiritual perfection one is no longer pinched by the three fold miseries or the four fold miseries of material existence.

The threefold miseries are:
1. Miseries of the mind and body
2. Miseries caused by other living beings
3. Miseries caused by natural disturbances

The fourfold miseries are:
1. Birth
2. Death
3. Old age
4. Disease

Full absorption in Krishna consciousness situates one completely beyond these miseries. Even death is not disturbing for a person who is fully situated in Krishna consciousness.

Those who are actually intelligent fully dedicate their lives for attaining this perfection of being 100% absorbed in Krishna consciousness in all times, places, and circumstances.

Neither. Just fix your mind on Krishna by chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. This will give you a taste much sweeter and more relishable than any material thoughts. Thus all material thoughts will automatically be abandoned.

It's just like if I gave someone ten thousand dollars they would be happy. But if I told them that they have to give it back, they would be disappointed. But if I offered to exchange the ten thousand dollars for a million dollars, they would not mind at all giving up the ten thousand dollars.

Fixing your mind on Krishna is like a million dollars and other thoughts are like a puny ten thousand dollars and are thus very easy to give up when you get the much higher taste of Krishna consciousness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
