Question: Why Demonize Recreational Sex?

Humans unlike other animals are the only species who can have sex only for recreational purposes. Why should there be a demonizing of this in your recent Thought for the Day? Even modern research has shown that couples who have good sex with eachother and who are happy with thier sex lives live longer happier lives. I do not understand. Can you please clarify?

Those who want to enjoy sex pleasure without restriction will be given a more suitable body in their next life such as the body of hog. The hog enjoys sex unrestrictedly even with his mother, sister, or daughter.

Modern science has neglected to compare the life spans of men who pass a lot of semen with those who withhold their semen. Those who withhold their semen live much longer. There are yogis and transcendentalists who want to live for greater spans of life voluntarily restrain themselves from discharging semen. The more one can restrain the discharge of semen, the more one can be aloof from the problem of death. There are many yogis living up to three hundred or seven hundred years by this process

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
