Celebrate Your Eternal Identity!

Instead of celebrating what you have here in this material world, which is here today and gone tomorrow, and which will do nothing more that set you up for ultimately being very, very disappointed, you should instead celebrate and relish your eternal identity as the servant of Lord Sri Krishna. This celebration will take you into the dimension of eternity and ever-increasing knowledge and bliss.

Now that I have thus advised you can do what you choose to do. I hope you make the right choice. I don't like to see anybody suffering.

Question: What If There Will Be No More Gurus?

There is not so many gurus, except from Srila Prabhupada's disciples. What if there will be no more new gurus.

My Dear Annja,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

The etiquette is that when one's spiritual master is still physically present on this planet his disciples should not accept disciples. But after he leaves this world they can accept disciples. So after the present generation of Srila Prabhupada's disciples who are gurus leaves this world there will be large generation of new gurus to carry on the disciplic succession.

Srila Prabhupada told us in a lecture in Los Angele on 18 May 1972:

"So we have got this message from Kṛṣṇa, from Caitanya Mahāprabhu, from the six Gosvāmīs, later on, Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, Bhaktisiddhānta Ṭhākura. And we are trying our bit also to distribute this knowledge. Now, tenth, eleventh, twelfth... My Guru Mahārāja is tenth from Caitanya Mahāprabhu, I am eleventh, you are the twelfth. So distribute this knowledge. People are suffering. They are simply fighting on some false thing, māyā. They should be given the real fact of happiness."

So the disciples of the present generation of gurus are the thirteenth in disciplic succession from Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In the future they will initiate many disciples.

So when will you become a disciple?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
