All Success By Associating with Krishna's Pure Devotee.

Do you know how powerful it is to get the association of Krishna's pure devotee? In this connection Lord Caitanya has said:

’sādhu-saṅga’, ‘sādhu-saṅga’—sarva-śāstre kaya
lava-mātra sādhu-saṅge sarva-siddhi haya

“The verdict of all revealed scriptures is that by even a moment’s association (lava-mātra) with a pure devotee, one can attain all success."

How long of a moment (lava-mātra) is required to attain all success? Srila Prabhupada explains, "According to astronomical calculations, a lava is one eleventh of a second." So just see how powerful is the pure devotee's association. Even if we fallen souls can get for one eleventh of a second a pure devotee's association we can achieve the highest success of pure devotion to Lord Sri Krishna.

So how we get such powerful pure association? Srila Prabhupada said, "I shall never die. I shall live forever in my books." So all we have to do is read Srila Prabhupada's books. In this way we are blessed with his association. Therefore if we can induce everyone in the world to read Srila Prabhupada's books, this world will be transformed into a spiritual paradise.

Rādhā means "the topmost worshipper." She is called Rādhā because no one can excel her in her worship of Krishna.


Even if your mind is not interested in chanting, force it to be fixed on the holy name. It is compared to a person with jaundice eating sugar candy. For such a person sugar candy is horribly bitter. But on the order of their physician they force themselves to eat sugar candy even though they feel like spitting it out. This is done because sugar candy gradually cures them from their jaundice. And once they are cured they enjoy the sweet taste of sugar candy.

Similarly, the materialistic mind hates the Hare Krishna mantra. But if we force it to be fixed on Hare Krishna, it will gradually be cured of its material disease and then we will find unlimited pleasure in chanting Hare Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
