 Our present day world leaders are compared man-eating rakshasas (demons.). These so-called leaders have authorized the wholesale murder of innocent babies within the wombs of their mothers and the murder of the innocent cows who are giving us the miracle food, milk. Such so-called leaders are not the well-wishers of all living beings. They are simply serving their own selfish desires for power, money, and prestige. What the world needs to do now if there is going to be any possibility for peace, prosperity, and happiness on this planet is to get of all these rascal so-called leaders and take guidance instead from those who factually qualified to lead the world, the pure devotees or Krishna. They, and no-one else, is qualified is lead us.

Question: Punished for Previous Meat-Eating?

Please accept my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet. I was a non- vegetarian but after enrolling myself here I became vegetarian and started chanting Hare Krishna mahamantra! But my questions is, "Will I be punished for being non-vegetarian before although I am a vegetarian now?".

I am very happy to hear this good news!

Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 18, Verse 66:

sarva-dharmān parityajya
mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo
mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ

"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."

So if you will surrender to Krishna, you will not suffer the reactions for the killing of all of those animals that you ate.

Make sure to offer all of your vegetables to Krishna before eating. Even vegetarianism is sinful if the vegetarian food is not offered to Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
