Even though they don't remember it everyone in this world is a devotee of Krishna. They are suffering like anything in their forgetful state, simply waiting for that wonderful moment when they will become awakened to their original state of Krishna consciousness. Therefore those devotees who dedicate their lives for awakening the sleeping souls of this world are the world's greatest heroes and are most pleasing to Lord Sri Krishna.

Dear Gurudeva,

Gurudeva, I feel defeated. I fear you can't teach an old dog (me) a new trick. Maybe I can't overcome my past. My bad habits are too great. Is it too late for this old dog to learn a new trick?

Your thoughts are ridiculous. Stop misidentifying yourself with that rotting corpse. You are an eternal youth qualitatively one with the Supreme Lord.

Stop foolishly trying to be what are you not and easily be who you are, Krishna's pure devotee. You are like a fish who is foolishly struggling trying to be a creature of the land when all you really have to do is surrender to that person who has picked you up and is tossing you back into the water.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an surrendered mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
