Abortion is Murder
Many of our readers very much appreciated yesterday's Thought for the Day and wrote me to tell me so. However, one reader very much objected. You can read her objection and my reply below. This illicit sex leads to abortions. In this regard Srila Prabhupada has written as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, Fifth Canto, Chapter 14, Text 9:

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead does not allow anyone to act against the stringent laws of material nature; therefore illicit sex is punished life after life. Illicit sex creates pregnancies, and these unwanted pregnancies lead to abortion. Those involved become implicated in these sins, so much so that they are punished in the same way the next life. Thus in the next life they also enter the womb of a mother and are killed in the same way. All these things can be avoided by remaining on the transcendental platform of Krishna consciousness. In this way one does not commit sinful activity. Illicit sex is the most prominent sin due to lusty desire. When one associates with the mode of passion, he is implicated in suffering life after life."

Those who choose to value sense gratification more than than life of a baby will suffer greatly. We hope to save them and the children they are murdering.

Objection: Krishna is Happy with Our Recreational Sex

I completly disagree with you. I strongly believe once you are married you can have sex for both pleasure and for procreation.

Answer: Human Life is Meant for Sense Control

You mention "kind regards". Why don't you have kind regards for the more than 38 million children that have been killed so far this year by abortion?

It is because of this mentality which you and others espouse that sex is for recreation that these more than 38 million innocent children have been murdered. The karmic reaction from these millions of murders is wreaking havoc on the human society. We are trying to save those children. But the sad fact is that millions of people all over the world are strongly convinced that titillating their genitals is more important than a human life. Thus they continue murdering babies so that that they can continue enjoying recreational sex. Human life is meant for sense control, not for living a life lower than animals. Show me any animal species that aborts its babies.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
