Krishna Consciousness is Science Not Dogma
Sometimes foolish commentators describe Krishna's teachings as being dogmatic, which means something that must be accepted blindly without scientific understanding, something that is put forth as authoritative without adequate grounds. But it is not all at dogmatic. Rather it is the philosophy of false identification with matter of the modern day society which is dogmatic. We know scientifically that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is not blind faith or dogma.
How do we know Him scientifically as the Supreme Person? The answer is that we measure greatness by six different yardsticks. If somebody is very rich, we consider him to be great. If somebody is very powerful or beautiful or knowledgable, we consider him to be great. Also if someone is very renounced, he is considered to be great. And even if someone does not possess any of other these other opulences if he is somehow or other very famous, we consider him to be great. So just imagine if there were a person who excels everyone else in each of these qualities, that there is no one more powerful, more beautiful, more renounced, more knowledgable, more wealth, and more famous than he. That person would indeed be the Supreme Person. If we study all the great persons in history we will see that there is such a person, and His name is Krishna.

Question: How to Take Shelter of a Guru?
Hare Krishna,Dear Guru,
Accept my humble obeissances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
I am thinking of finding my spiritual master, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a disciple. How to take shelter of a Guru and how to know if you are ready to do that?
Sometimes I feel a big conflict between my spiritual knowledge and outer world. Maya is very strong and sometimes it's hard to remember that this world is only a shadow of spiritual world. I really want to take a shelter of a guide, guru.
Mataji Vesta
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
It is very simple. It is not at all complicated. All you to do is ask the spiritual master to train you how to become qualified for initiation.
He will open your eyes with the torchlight of knowledge so that you are no longer blinded by this illusory material existence.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.
