Total Global Spiritual Revolution Right Now
The world desperately needs a total global spiritual revolution right now. Countless numbers of living entities are suffering like anything. They are caught up in the cycle of birth and death here in this material existence tortured like anything by the threefold miseries and the fourfold miseries. The most urgent need therefore is that all the living beings who have fallen down from the spiritual world into this material existence can no be delivered back to their original relationship with Lord Sri Krishna. How pitiable it is to see anyone unnecessarily in a suffering condition. How painful this is. Therefore the compassionate devotees of Lord are begging Lord Sri Krishna that they may be absolutely perfect with their every thought, word, and deed in all times, places, and circumstances so that they can be perfect instruments for attracting all of the suffering souls in this material existence to revive their dormant Krishna consciousness.

Is it necessary to chant the Vishnu-Sahasra-Nam (the Thousand Names of Vishnu) when chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra? Do they have their independent effect?
Satyanarayana
My Dear Satyanarayana,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Srila Prabhupada explains as follows in his purport to the Mukanda Mala Stotra Verse 2:
"As explained above, all the names of the Lord are as powerful as the Lord Himself, but one can experience different transcendental mellows by chanting His different transcendental names. For example, the sastra (scripture) states that there are one thousand principal names of Lord Vishnu, the Personality of Godhead. But if a person utters the name Rama only once, he gets the result of chanting one thousand names of Vishnu. And if somebody once chants the name Krishna, he achieves the results obtained by chanting the name Rama three times. In other words, uttering the name Krishna once is equal to uttering three thousand other names of Vishnu."
So in consideration of this if we chant the Hare Krishna mantra once, we get the benefit the thousand names of Vishnu 16 times.
Since our initiated devotees chant at least 1,728 repetitions of the Hare Krishna mantra every day, they get the benefit of chanting the thousand names of Vishnu at least 27,648 times.
So the conclusion is that it is not necessary to chant the thousand names of Vishnu along with chanting the Hare Krishna mantra because it already included while chanting Hare Krishna.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a super ecstatic mood.
Your ever well-wisher,
