Many Different Religions is a Gross Misconception

One of the biggest misconceptions in the human society is that there are many different religions. The real fact is that there is only one religion, to become a true lover of God. This great one religion has been taught by many great teachers throughout history such as Moses, Jesus Christ, Hajrat Mohammad, and Lord Caitanya. But the difficulty today is nobody follows these great teachers. They say, "I am Jew; I am Christian; I am Muslim; I am Hindu," and they fight. But actually they are none of these because they do not truly follow these great teachers. Therefore our aim in the Krishna consciousness movement is to teach everyone what is the true meaning of religion, to give up material sense gratification and fully surrender oneself to God. When this one religion by accepted by the people all over the world, this entire planet will become a peaceful, prosperous, paradise. May that day come soon! May that day come soon!

Question: How Did You Find God?

Dear Sankarshan Das Adhikari,

I read a bit about you and I introduce myself, lady of 41 yrs old, born Christian and married a Hindu faith man who is in the Krishna Consciousness foundation, and I am still looking for some answers regarding my faith.

I would like to know more about how you discovered the Father. I've been taught since childhood by some pictures found that the father is an old man with grey hairs. I think if you google you will find out what I am talking about, and I am still looking for my answer regarding that.

As you are a Christian Hare Krishna, I too would like to discover many things. I am a bit like St. Thomas; I need to see to believe.

I hope I will be able to find a way out as I am a bit lost and many things that my husband tells me I am not too keen to follow and which is more important is that there is a kid in between who is a bit lost too and for him I would like to find out the right way.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
