Don't Be Crazy in an Insane World

In a world where everyone is insane due to bodily misidentification it is indeed quite a challenge not to be crazy like everyone else. This is why it is essential to take shelter of the association of devotees. The shelter began in the Western world when Srila Prabhupada gave shelter to his first disciples in New York City in 1966. And then they gave shelter to others who gave shelter to others, etc. etc. In this way the Krishna consciousness movement has spread all over the world and will continue spreading until the whole world has becomes filled up with devotees as predicted in the Brahma-vaivarta Purana 4.129.59:

kaler dasa-sahasrāni
madbhaktāh samti bhu-tale
ekavarnā bhavisyamti
madbhakteṣu gatesu ca

"For `10,000 years of Kali such devotees of Mine will fill the whole planet. After the departure of My devotees there will be only one varna [outcaste]."

Answer: The World Where There is No Anxiety

My Dear Krunal,
Please accept my blessings.

The word “Vaikuntha” means “without anxiety.” It is a name for the spiritual world, that place where all material miseries (namely birth, death, old age, and disease) are conspicuous by their absence. At the beginning of our universe Lord Brahma, the chief demigod of our universe, had a vision of the Vaikuntha world and described it as follows:

cintāmaṇi-prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vṛkṣa-
lakṣāvṛteṣu surabhīr abhipālayantam
lakṣmī-sahasra-śata-sambhrama-sevyamānaṁ
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi


TRANSLATION

“I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, the first progenitor who is tending the cows, yielding all desire, in abodes built with spiritual gems, surrounded by millions of purpose trees, always served with great reverence and affection by hundreds of thousands of lakṣmīs or gopīs.”


By the process of devotional service, full surrender unto Lord Sri Krishna, one qualifies himself to enter the Vaikuntha world upon leaving his present material body, and he will never take birth again in this miserable material world.


I hope that you are now qualifying yourself to enter the Vaikuntha world as soon as possible.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
