We Have to Tolerate the Suffering

This material existence is a hellish nightmare, and there is not much more to be said in this connection. Therefore we have to be very tolerant. We are always being tortured by at least one of the threefold miseries if not two of them, or all three of them. The threefold miseries are as follows: 1. Miseries caused by the mind and body, 2. Miseries by other living beings, and 3. Miseries caused by nature such as earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. In spite of so many centuries of progress by material science these material miseries are still tormenting us with full force. Therefore instead of trying by material means to vanquish all of these miseries those who are intelligent tolerate these miseries and focus their consciousness on going to that place where all miseries are conspicuous by their absence, i.e. that most wondrous, brilliantly illuminated spiritual sky where no one ever gets sick, gets old, or dies.

What role can philosophy play in attaining world peace?

Shipra Bhatia

Answer: Here is the Peace Formula

By universal acceptance of the philosophy of Lord Sri Krishna, as He so mercifully gives us in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 5, Text 29, we can have perfect world immediately. Here is Lord Sri Krishna’s perfect peace formula:

bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati

“One who knows me as enjoyer and owner of everything and as the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living beings attains perfect peace.”

Therefore we now want to educate and enlighten the entire world with Lord Krishna’s most sublime and powerful peace formula. I put His formula into a song I wrote called “The Peace Formula,” which was very much appreciated by former US President Obama when he was in the White House. You can read his letter of appreciation and hear and download the song at: www.ThePeaceFormula.com
