Back to Home, Back to Vrindavan-Dhama

15 October 2019 was a most auspicious day for us. Because it is on this day that we arrived in Sri Vrindavan-dhama, the most holy abode of Lord Sri Krishna. This is the holiest of all holy places. In this connection Srila Prabhupada stated on 17 September 1975:

"This is tattva, truth, that Krishna, the Supreme Person, His holy name, His form, His attributes, His pastimes, His paraphernalia, His dhama... Just like we are in Vrindavan-dhama. So why Vrindavan-dhama is worshiped? Because the Vrindavan-dhama is not different from Krishna. When you take a little dust of Vrindavan-dhama you are taking the dust of Krishna's lotus feet. Vrindavan-dhama, so important."

Whenever I arrive in Vrindavan my practice is to immediately get down in the holy dirt of Vrindavan begging for Krishna's mercy. On this arrival as soon as I got out of the vehicle I placed myself in the holy dirt of Vrindavana offering my obeisances to Lord Sri Krishna begging Him to make me His pure devotee and for His blessings that I can now make the whole world Krishna conscious.

Question: Reconcile Scientific and Spiritual Knowledge?

How can we reconcile scientific and spiritual knowledge?

Gaurav Oberoi

Answer: Real Scientific Knowledge is Spiritual

That science which posits that matter is the basis of reality can never be rectified with spiritual knowledge because it simply is not true. Therefore such science is more correctly described as nescience or ignorance. And that science which describes spirit as the foundation of reality is already fully rectified with spiritual knowledge because it is spiritual knowledge. In other words real scientific knowledge is spiritual knowledge. Thus the greatest scientist is he who sees that the Supreme Spirit, Krishna, or God is the source of everything.
