Hare Krishna Kirtan Inside the Airport

Upon our arrival in Pune, India on 20 April 2017 we were delighted to be greeted by an ecstatic Hare Krishna kirtan inside the airport at the luggage carousel pickup area. Such things are never allowed in today's era of tight airport security. But my disciple, Premananda Das, was able to make a special arrangement by negotiating with an airport official. The devotees even had a portable amplifier to make the kirtan audible throughout the entire arrivals area. Taking advantage of this rare opportunity we all chanted loudly and danced ecstatically much to the amazement of the assembled arriving passengers waiting to pick up their luggage. May Hare Krishna kirtan become more and more manifested in more and more places all over the world as a regular daily affair. This will help us greatly in our mission to Krishnize the entire world as soon as possible.

In this connection Lord Caitanya has said:

"All glories to the Sri Krishna sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious."

Question: How the Supreme Controller Can Be Controlled?

I read in Srimad Bhagavatam 11.6.18 purport, "As the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna displays the highest perfection of beauty, strength, wealth, fame, knowledge and renunciation and is thus completely satisfied by His own supreme position. He reciprocates spiritual loving affairs with the gopis and queens simply for their sake."

I have heard Krishna is controlled by the love of His pure devotees. Does Krishna act in such a way that He seems to be controlled by His devotee's love; for the pleasure of His devotees? How can I properly understand these two statements and get properly enlightened.

Answer: By His Desire to Please His Devotees

It is a fact that Krishna is controlled by the love of His pure devotees. It is not a show. Because Krishna loves His devotees unlimitedly, to satisfy their propensity to love Him to the fullest possible extent He allows Himself to be completely controlled by their love.
