Just as by its sucking power the sun can completely dry up a large lake, Krishna's pure devotee, can by Krishna shakti, the divine empowerment which Krishna has invested in him, suck this age of Kali dry of all of its demoniac qualities and thus turn the tide of times away from its present exploitative, miserable culture of darkness into a brilliant God-centered civilization of compassion, in which everyone experiences unlimited peace and happiness at every moment of their lives. In other words, the pure devotee fixes the disastrously off-center global consciousness.

As long as one follows the teachings of Krishna, does it matter if one does it with strong faith, low faith or blind faith? If yes, what are the differences of the effect?

Answer: Acting Intelligently in Krishna Consciousness is the Best

For a thousand mile journey does it matter if you are walking, driving, or flying? All three are good because all three will get you there. But when it is urgent that you reach your destination as soon as possible, the fastest means is the best. Therefore strong faith is the best. Strong faith means faith based upon intelligence. Blind faith is weak because it is not based on intelligence.

Thus the best means of achieving success is buddhi-yoga, acting intelligently in Krishna consciousness. When I first came to Krishna consciousness forty-five years ago I was instructed by His Holiness Vishnujana Swami to continue inquiring until my intelligence was fully satisfied. I followed his advice, and this has made me very strong in Krishna consciousness. I therefore advise you and all of my students and disciples to do the same.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
