Question: Why Can't I Chant Hare Krishna?

Sri Adhikari Guruji,

I would greatly appreciate, if you could enlighten me, why I am unable to chant "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare" but only "Sri Rama Rameti" though I have nothing negative or less respect for the Hare Krishna mantra. Further, please also enlighten me what would be the difference in chanting either of the mantras.

Answer: You Can Chant Hare Krishna

Would you rather earn 50,000 rupees a month or 150,000 rupees a month from doing exactly the same job for exactly the same number of hours?

While chanting the name of Lord Rama one time gives you the tremendous benefit of chanting all of the thousand names of Vishnu, chanting the name of Krishna one time gives you the benefit of chanting Lord Rama’s name three times. So it really depends of how eager you are to achieve spiritual perfection. Would you like to advance three times as fast on the path of spiritual perfection?

Just try to understand how much more powerful is "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna,
Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare” than chanting the Rama mantra, and then do the needful for getting out of this material existence as soon as possible.

You are able to chant Hare Krishna. Stop listening to your foolish mind which tells you that you are not able to chant Hare Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
