As soon as we speak of sunshine, the energy of the sun, we are automatically acknowledging the existence of the sun planet, the source of the sunshine. Similarly, as soon as recognize the existence of the energy of which our universe is composed, we must naturally acknowledge that there is an energetic source for all of this energy. The perfection of our existence is to live in a state of perfect harmony with that source of all the energy. That Supreme Energetic is Krishna, and living in a state of perfect harmony with Him is called Krishna consciousness.

Question: How to Get Addicted to Krishna?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, in this material world when one gets addicted to something it's very difficult to get rid of that addiction, even if mind is of flickering nature it can still stick onto that single addiction. Similarly although Krishna consciousness is the most precious, is there anything that will make me addicted to the holy names, to devotional service, and to everything in Krishna consciousness at this very this moment?

I need something that will voluntarily bring back my mind and senses back unto service of the Lord always always. This ocean of Krishna consciousness is so blissful and sweet, but I am still on the bank it seems. I am not happy. Unless my mind is fully engaged in Krishna consciousness I can't be really happy it seems.

Answer: Absorb Yourself in Devotee Association

The more one associates with drunkards, the more he will become addicted to liquor. Similarly, the more one associates with devotees, the more he will become addicted to Krishna. This addiction to Krishna is so wonderful and sublime that when it is acquired one forgets about all the absolutely asinine addictions of this material world. Therefore as much as possible you should always keep yourself packed up tightly in the association of devotees. This will solve all of your problems and gradually elevate you to the perfectional stage of consciousness, pure love of Godhead.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
