Don't Leave Any Gaps for Maya
Don't waste a single moment thinking, speaking, or doing anything which is not Krishna conscious. Such frivolities will do nothing but make you miserable. So why would any intelligent person consciously do something that would make him miserable? He would not. Therefore do not be a fool. Don't ever leave any gaps for maya or illusion in your 24 hours a day.

Is everything predestined in this universe including our karma? I recall the curse given to Jaya and Vijaya (doorkeepers of Lord Vishnu) by the four Kumaras that they would get demon bodies in their next three births. Since this happened as predicted, why should we criticize Jaya and Vijaya for their sinful activities in their births as demons?
Then the big question comes: Is our karma also fixed in same way, forcing us to do things under the grip of our destiny?
I seek your kind advise !!

The good news is that you have the free will to leave the influence of the material energy and come back your original position in the spiritual energy at any time. This will completely free you from being a prisoner of karma. This is why we are urging you to fully surrender to Krishna right now and become liberated eternally.

Question: Is Everything Predestined?
I have a doubt, and I don’t find anyone more qualified than you to clear my doubts well supported by scriptures. My question is:Is everything predestined in this universe including our karma? I recall the curse given to Jaya and Vijaya (doorkeepers of Lord Vishnu) by the four Kumaras that they would get demon bodies in their next three births. Since this happened as predicted, why should we criticize Jaya and Vijaya for their sinful activities in their births as demons?

Answer: Man is the Architect of His Own Destiny
There is the material energy and the spiritual energy. As long as you remain in the material energy you will be helplessly forced in to act sometimes piously and sometimes impiously according to the stringent dictates of the law of karma. Because it was your choice to enter the material energy when you rejected Krishna trying to enjoy independently of Him, you are fully responsible for everything that you do while you are under karma’s grip. The good news is that you have the free will to leave the influence of the material energy and come back your original position in the spiritual energy at any time. This will completely free you from being a prisoner of karma. This is why we are urging you to fully surrender to Krishna right now and become liberated eternally.
