Please tell me what to do when we do something wrong directly or indirectly.

How to diminish our lusty mind? Why are we so lusty towards sex, money, fame, etc.? How to finish these materialistic qualities.

Answer: Use Them As Stepping Stones

There is no reason to become discouraged when you do something wrong because especially in spiritual life failure is the pillar of success. Simply when you make a mistake take advantage of it by carefully noting what you did wrong and why you did it wrong so that you can avoid that mistake in the future. In this way instead of experiencing failures as stumbling blocks impeding your progress, you can use them as stepping stones to enhance your progress on the path of self-realization.

Lust arises due our foolish misidentification with the material body. To get rid of lust all you to do is remember that you are not your body and absorb yourself more deeply in Krishna consciousness by hearing, chanting, reading, serving, and preaching as much as possible. In this way your heart will be overflowing with Krishna bhakti and when Mr. Lust comes to spend the night in the hotel of your heart he will be confronted by a flashing neon sign which says, “No Vacancy,” and he will have to go somewhere else to find a place to stay.
