Don't Base Your Happiness on this Material World

You should never base your happiness on your situation in this material world. If you do so, you are the biggest fool because whatever happiness you may think that you are enjoying is illusory and only temporary at best. The intelligent person bases his happiness instead on his relationship with his spiritual master and Lord Sri Krishna because when you become perfect in this you become perfect in eternal happiness. In other words your happiness can never impinged upon by anything that happens to you here in this material world. Otherwise you are simply throwing yourself into the whirlpool of repeated birth, death, old age, and disease in the 8,400,000 species of life.

Answer: Yes, And Then He Shrinks

Yes, the spirit-soul is originally a person with a unique identity and a full-sized human form in the spiritual world before he falls down into material existence. When he falls into material existence his spiritual form goes into a dormant seed-like state manifested microscopically as the size of 1/10,000th the tip of hair. When he goes back to Godhead he will again manifest his original spiritual form.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
