Always Serve Krishna First
Due to our foolish conditioned natures we always think of serving ourselves first instead of serving Krishna. We think that serving Krishna or God is a good idea because it allows us to think highly of ourselves, but only after serving ourselves first. We constantly forget that the only way we can factually serve ourselves is by serving God. Just as the only way that the hand will get nutrition is by giving food to the stomach, unless and until we start putting Krishna first in all times, places, and circumstances we are starving our very selves by denying ourselves genuine happiness. This is why the Krishna consciousness movement is of the utmost importance for the happiness of the human society. It is training everyone how to experience genuine happiness at every moment by always putting Krishna or God first.
Krishna-Balarama on Rama Navami
I have one doubt from so many days: Why God is invisible to us? What is the reason behind this? If He would be visible in His original form not just His form as deity, then we would be able to see Him and interact with Him personally. Is there any reason that we cannot see His original form?
Yours sincerely

Answer: Because We Are Covered by Lust, Greed, Anger, and Envy
If we will fully surrender ourselves to the Lord who has so kindly manifested Himself fully before us at the deity in the temple, He will also become fully visible to us in His original form from which the deity and this entire material existence has sprung. Lord Krishna will be thus fully visible to us only if we will anoint our eyes with the salve of love. At the present moment because we are covered by lust, anger, greed, and envy we cannot see that beautiful Lord who is standing right before us playing His flute.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
