Degradation of the Human Race

We have been informed by one of our students about his sister-in-law who has already given birth to two daughters and is now pregnant for the third time. Since she wanted to have a son this time and since she has been informed that this third child is also a daughter, she has decided to kill this third child by abortion. Such gross sinfulness is not at all an isolated incident in today's world society. Indeed such depravity has now even become legal and socially acceptable in many nations. One can murder their own child and think that there is nothing at all wrong in doing this. Abortion is being promoted as "reproduction rights" when in fact it is nothing but the falsely conceived right to murder another human being.

Considering this ever-increasingly lower standard of what is thought to be proper human behavior, it is not all astonishing that people nowadays are so miserable. The more that people drift away from God consciousness and morality, the more they will unavoidingly become frustrated and bewildered. This is a law of nature. The only solution for this insanity is Krishna consciousness, to reconnect with God. Of out of compassion on these poor fellows the Krishna consciousness movement has been started to educate the world population how to come back to sanity. Therefore we are praying to Krishna that this movement can become successful as soon as possible in enlightening the grossly ignorant human society how to properly protect and nurture its young in God consciousness, because this will save the people from the karma of becoming murdered by abortion in their next birth.

The law of karma applies equally to all. It does not matter what religion you belong to. Anyone who eats meat will take birth in the species of the animal they have eaten in order to be killed and eaten in their next life. This is why the Bible says not to kill. But how many Christians follow this commandment? They are practically all eating meat and going down to the animall kingdom in their next birth.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
