Devotees Travel Globally to Awaken Others

Srila Prabhupada nicely explains in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 1.6.26 that after initiation a sincere devotee travels all over the world to awaken people to Krishna consciousness:

"The life of a sincere devotee of the Lord is thus explained in a nutshell by Narada Muni by his personal example. Such a devotee, after his initiation by the Lord or His bona fide representative, takes very seriously chanting of the glories of the Lord and traveling all over the world so that others may also hear the glories of the Lord. Such devotees have no desire for material gain. They are conducted by one single desire: to go back to Godhead. This awaits them in due course on quitting the material body. Because they have the highest aim of life, going back to Godhead, they are never envious of anyone, nor are they proud of being eligible to go back to Godhead. Their only business is to chant and remember the holy name, fame and pastimes of the Lord and, according to personal capacity, to distribute the message for others' welfare without motive of material gain."

Therefore, even though we consider ourselves incompetent and unfit to spread the Lord's glories all over the world, still because of Srila Prabhupada's order that his followers must deliver the world from nescience, we are making our humble attempt to try to do at least a little something to awaken people to Krishna consciousness.

Answer: Follow Him to Get All Revelations.

Whether one understands or does not understand the urgency and necessity of accepting the order of his spiritual master as his very life and soul, if he will do so in any case, all the imports of the Vedic knowledge will be gradually revealed to him. So, in other words, whether one has realization or does not have realization if he carries out the order of his spiritual master, his consciousness will be flooded with transcendental realizations and he will become qualified to some day see Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, face-to-face, eye-to-eye.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
