Are You Ready for the Final Exam of Death?

No one wants to die, but yet we have to be always ready for death because this ultimate destroyer of everything can come at any moment. Many will object that you should not think about death, that you should remain oblivious to death and simply go on squeezing as much happiness out of life as you possibly can while you have the chance. But this is their gross ignorance of the science of life and death. They don't realize how to utilize death to elevate themselves to a higher plane of existence in their next life. And thus because, even though in a human body, they ignorantly live an animalistic existence, they degrade themselves down to the animal kingdom in their next life. Not being ready for death is like taking a university course without preparing for the final exam. The result is that you will fail the course and you do not progress to the next level.

Since Krishna is from another world, from our material perspective He is certainly an alien. But from the spiritual point of view, this material world is the alien world and we all are the aliens.

Krishna must be God because everything comes from Him. He is the source of all existence.

The chance to know God's name is very rare. You must be very fortunate to know the name of God.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
