Why Be a Hare Krishna?
At the Baltic Summer Vaisnava Festival after a super ecstatic kirtan that sent us flying through the stratosphere to the spiritual plane I asked the devotees, "Why be a Hare Krishna?" And then after a brief pause I gave the answer, "Because it is more fun." It is a fact. It is not exaggeration. There is truly nothing more enlivening than Krishna consciousness in all the three worlds. It is indeed a thrill at every moment!
Ecstatic Memories of Summer Vaisnava Festival
Namaste.
I would like to ask the following question:
Lord Krishna is beyond three modes of material nature. In order to awaken our original Krishna consciousness one has also to go beyond three modes. How to acquire knowledge, dispassion, and devotion to go beyond three modes of material nature?

Answer: Chant Hare Krishna and Taste Prasadam
If you will accept Krishna prasadam, vegetarian foods offered to Lord Krishna with love and devotion, as your only foodstuff, and you will as much as much possible engage your tongue 24 hours a day in chanting Hare Krishna, you will easily transcend the modes of material nature and enter into the transcendental dimension, the spiritual plane, where life is eternal, full of knowledge, and overflowing with unlimited bliss.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
