Stop Polluting the Global Environment

We should not waste our lives by simply pursuing temporary materialistic goals. These will never satisfy the self within. Instead we should focus our consciousness on attaining the supreme goal of pure love of God. This is not to say that we should neglect our bodily necessities such as eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. It is within our quota to take care of our material comforts. But when we over-emphasize these comforts to the point of extravagance, we are violating the laws of nature, polluting our consciousness, and polluting the global environment. Therefore we should simplify our lives by regularly chanting the holy names of God, subsisting on a simple vegetarian diet of foodstuffs offered to the Lord before being eaten, and by limiting our sex life to the propagation of saintly children. If we live such saintly lives, the entire global atmosphere will be wondrously transformed. This place will become heaven on earth.

Appreciation & Comment from a Muslim Subscriber

Respected Sir,

I am a very old subscriber of your course from maybe around I think 2006. I have always found your lessons very interesting. Maybe at some point I have different opinion, and that is of course obviously due to different religious practices. i.e. that is I am a Muslim Sufi practitioner. I have been a spiritual healer since 2002 and have been receiving spiritual guidance from all religions, dealing with forces of darkness, which effect Christians, Hindus, and Muslims. Anyway your thoughts are very inspiring. I have read the Bhagavad-gita also, which has been translated into our Pakistani language, Urdu. I have found its teachings very much similar to the Koran, the holy book the Muslims.

Coming back to the topic, in the Koran God says that when people attribute all good things to Me and all bad things to Satan or another force of darkness or evil by this they are trying to create another God of equal power against me, which is not the case and they are wrong. God says, "I am the only one and there is no equivalence to me. I am the creator of all good and evil and every thing good and evil comes from Me." I think God is just like a coin, which has both a head and a tail, and that it is we who choose which side of God we want.

Answer: Good Philosophical Point from the Koran

My Dear Azhar,
Please accept my blessings.

I am indeed happy that you have been enrolled in our course for so many years and have always found our teachings very interesting and inspiring. This proves that we are not presenting any kind of sectarian dogma or fanaticism here, that we are indeed presenting the true universal science of religion, the technique of how anyone from any religion or from any part of the world can reconnect with the origin of their existence, the Supreme Lord, who has unlimited names, through the awakening of their dormant love for Him.

The Koran has given very good philosophical wisdom on this point that you are discussing, that there is no separate power of evil in the world. It is just as you have described. Each of us has a choice to accept God's front side or His back side. Both the spiritual and material energies are coming from God. It is up to us to choose which side of God we want to connect with.

In this connection a nice example can be given: A citizen can either elevate himself by enrolling in a state run university, or he can degrade himself by a criminal lifestyle which relegates him to the state run prison. In either the prison or the university he is connected with the state, but the results of the two ways of being connected with the state are completely different.

So, in the same way, everyone is connected with God. It is up to each of them to choose whether they prefer His spiritual energy, which facilitates remembrance of Him, or His material energy, which facilitates forgetfulness of Him.
