Here's the most wonderful, encouraging words that Srila Prabhupada has blessed us with. They are in his preface to The Nectar of Devotion.

The Nectar of Devotion will teach us how to turn the one switch that will immediately brighten everything, everywhere. One who does not know this method is missing the point of life.

The point is that when you become Krishna conscious, the entire world you live in becomes illuminated—you experience Krishna everywhere. It's like living in a beautiful spring morning at every minute.

Dear Śrīla Gurudev,

It has been a long time since I last wrote to you. The truth is, I felt too ashamed and unworthy to reach out. For some time, I had become irregular in my chanting, distanced from the temple, and uncertain of what to ask or how to express myself. Yet by your mercy—flowing through the association of devotees—I never felt completely disconnected.

Now, by Krishna’s grace, I am slowly trying to return. I’ve begun chanting at least three rounds daily, doing my best to chant after bathing and applying tilak. I’ve also made it a point to read one verse of the Bhagavad-gītā each day. With your mercy and Krishna’s strength, I have been endeavoring to follow celibacy—it has been 47 days so far—and I am sincerely striving to again follow the four regulative principles.

Śrīla Gurudev, I know I am still very fallen and continue to struggle in many areas, but deep in my heart, I truly desire to remain connected to you. I no longer wish to be distant. I want to sincerely serve your mission and live a life that pleases you and Śrī Krishna.

Please bless me with your guidance so I may move forward properly and make my life successful in Krishna consciousness. I may not know the right questions to ask, but I do know I need your shelter.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
