Maya Has Done a Very Slick Packaging Job
In this material world, everyone is attracted to the body of the opposite sex. But what is it, after all? It’s a bag of stool, urine, pus, and blood, packaged so expertly by Maya Devi that we go wild after it. Therefore, those who are sober do not allow themselves to go crazy after this. They keep their senses under control and instead focus on that Supreme Person, Lord Sri Krishna, whose body is composed of eternity, knowledge, and bliss. Lord Brahma, who had a personal darshan of Krishna, has described Krishna’s body in this way:angāni yasya sakalendriya-vṛttimanti
paśyanti pānti kalayanti ciraṁ jaganti
ānanda-cinmaya-sad-ujjvala-vigrahasya
govindam ādi-puruṣam tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
"I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose transcendental form is full of bliss, truth and substantiality and thus emanates the most dazzling splendor. Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in itself the full-fledged functions of all the organs, and He eternally sees, maintains and manifests the infinite universes, both spiritual and material." (Brahma Samhita, Chapter 5, Text 32)
So let us be attracted to the body of Krishna, Who is Krishna Himself, not the these bags of stool, urine, plus, and blood.

Question
Humble Namaskarams, Swamiji.I very earnestly and sincerely request your kind advice and instructions for the painful problem which I am confronting now:
Of late, there has been a daily argument with my wife on family issues, which has driven me to take recourse to heavy drinking every night for getting a few hours of peaceful sleep. I have no one to assist me in this critical situation, and I request you to kindly help me to get over this horrible situation at the earliest.
I look forward to your early response, for which I shall be very thankful.

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Instead of keeping drunk on liquor, get drunk on the Hare Krishna mantra. In one of his purports Srila Prabhupada describes how the devotees get intoxicated by the Holy Names:
Nārada Muni, the great soul, plays a stringed instrument called a vīṇā, vibrating the sound rādhikā-ramaṇa, which is another name for Kṛṣṇa. As soon as he strokes the strings, all the devotees begin responding, making a very beautiful vibration. Accompanied by the stringed instrument, the singing seems like a shower of nectar, and all the devotees dance in ecstasy to the fullest extent of their satisfaction. While dancing, they appear madly intoxicated with ecstasy, as if drinking the beverage called mādhurī-pūra. Some of them cry, some of them dance, and some of them, although unable to dance publicly, dance within their hearts. Lord Śiva embraces Nārada Muni and begins talking in an ecstatic voice, and seeing Lord Śiva dancing with Nārada, Lord Brahmā also joins, saying, "All of you kindly chant 'Hari bol! Hari bol!'" The King of heaven, Indra, also gradually joins with great satisfaction and begins dancing and chanting "Hari bol! Hari bol!" In this way, by the influence of the transcendental vibration of the holy name of God, the whole universe becomes ecstatic. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura says, "When the universe becomes ecstatic, my desire is satisfied. I therefore pray unto the lotus feet of Rūpa Gosvāmī that this chanting of harer nāma may go on nicely like this."
Don’t be distrubed by this fighting between husband wife. Srila Prabhupada describes this fighting as follows on a morning walk:
In the Hindu society, separation between husband and wife is not even dreamt of. That, it cannot be. However there may be quarrelsome, but there is no question of separation. Husband and wife, they fight, everywhere. I have seen. My father and mother was fighting. I fought. [laughter] But there is no question of separation. Separation, they never think. Neither the husband can think of, nor the wife can think of. Even in the life of Gandhi there was fight between husband and wife, and the Gandhi one day drove his wife, "Get out from my home." So she was put into the street, and she began to cry, "Where shall I go?" And then Gandhi ans..., "Come on." Yes. And Cāṇakya Paṇḍita said, bambhārambhe laghu-kriyā. The husband and wife may fight. It becomes a very serious thing, but don't take of it as serious. This is Hindu philosophy. Husband and wife quarrel should not be taken as very serious. They fight, and again they live peacefully.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.
