Cultivate Loving Relationships with Devotees

Don't remain caught up in cycle of birth and death. Awaken the dormant Krishna consciousness that is now sleeping within you. Chant the Hare Krishna mantra at least 16 rounds daily. Strictly avoid illicit sex (sex is only for. procreation), meat eating (including fish and eggs (also no garlic and onions)), intoxication (including coffee, caffeinated tea, and tobacco products) and gambling (including mental speculation). Associate regularly in loving relationships with devotees as described by Rupa Goswami in The Nectar of Instruction:

dadāti pratigṛhṇāti
guhyam ākhyāti pṛcchati
bhuṅkte bhojayate caiva
ṣaḍ-vidhaṁ prīti-lakṣaṇam

"Offering gifts in charity, accepting charitable gifts, revealing one's mind in confidence, inquiring confidentially, accepting prasāda and offering prasāda are the six symptoms of love shared by one devotee and another."

Because the devotees are representatives of Krishna, our love for Krishna will be seen by how much co-operate with His devotees. In this connection Srila Prabhupada instructed us:

"Your love for me will be shown by how much you cooperate to keep this institution together after I am gone....If you love me you will not fight. Stay united. Don't let this become another Gaudiya Math. Maintain the society in my absence. Do not let it deteriorate."

If there is no creation how is it that you are able to ask me a question?

Those voidists who argue that nothing exists are defeated because if nothing exists then their argument that nothing exists also does not exist.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
